@OuchMyGlands666 Actually the M249 is much more reliable, lighter, more portable, and can be fired from crouching and prone position. Get your facts from real life and not Call of Duty.

@chickenslice86 Actually you are suppose to shoot it in short, controlled bursts. Otherwise it's a complete waste of ammo. Every once in a while, like it this vid, it's just fun to let it rip. I don't do that often, since it heats up the barrel too fast. Putting unnecessary wear on a $36K gun is not real smart.

@95gorgoroth You should be able to buy and use them ...but you have to follow very strict rules about how to use them.

My great Uncle before his death years ago was at Monte Casino and spoke about the gun, he shook and called it the "Linoleum ripper". My grandfather the other day was talking about it as well and he told me of the gun, he called it the Linoleum ripper and then told me they got that term from the Russians. I got two 42 kits in 8mm for changing a starter for a friend on his truck. I want to do a semi auto build on them, probably harder than my Bren but I want to for uncle Theo and grandpa bill.

@DARIVSARCHITECTVS well yeah i know you buy them from collectors but doesnt the government remove the firing pin before there put in circulation? i guess what im asking is how do you get a working one without the dea down your throat?

@95gorgoroth The gun is registered with the Federal government, and is legal to own. They are out there, but you have to be able to afford them.

@95gorgoroth They go for about $32,000 for one that is a Curio & Relic (no license required). So save your pennies.
