@12105302 You're mistaking nationality with ethnicity. They are Han Chinese ethnically, and Taiwanese by nationality.
-
@SteveI72 Finally, someone who gets it. "Taiwanese" to Han people are nothing more than a mere nationality at most.
-
if they are taiwanese why dont they sing in taiwanese? they are singing in chinese and if you listen to the lyrics than you know S.H.E. consider themselves as CHINESE (HAN).
-
@SteveI72 they ARE taiwanese not Han

omg this is funny

They might be from Taiwan, but they are NOT Taiwanese...they are ethnically Han (Chinese). The only people who are actually Taiwanese are the Taiwanese aborigines. What most people mistakenly call Taiwanese are actually the Chinese people that stole the land from the original aboriginal inhabitants of Taiwan. It would be like calling a white person Hawaiian because they live in Hawaii. Hawaiian is an ethnic group, just like Taiwanese.

They speak Chinese, don't they?
And unless they say they are Chinese, they'll lose 90% of their market...

...actually, both of their melodies are based on mozart...
gosh, Asia really needs to stop Austria...I mean, come on, if you want to use something from composers who died 200 years ago, at least go and put some flowers on his grave or something, right?
