I agree with everyone here..next to"Over The Rainbow"..this is her best MGM musical number.

The authorative figuire in the light colored suit and white fedora hat is Eddie Dunn..who had worked in The Laurel & Hardy Film comedies at Hal Roach.

Interesting story: J was sent 2 a hypnotist in Santa Barbara 2 lose weight B4 filming "Get Happy." She was back in 2 weeks, less 20 lbs! Blocking the dance, the male dancers noticed a sickeningly sweet odor on J's breath; the sedative/hypnotic "Paraldahyde." J began mumbling accusations about an older crew member who she claimed had been after her body since her early days at MGM. When he was within range, she high kicked him in the teeth, & then went on to perform the # brilliantly in 3 takes!
