My name is Sam Snyder, and I'm 20 years old. I'm also sometimes called "Overhand" Sam, which was a nickname that was inherited after the way I play. I play the guitar fretting above the fingerboard, rather than below due to an accident I had when I began playing leaving my arm in a cast. Having a cast that went beyond my elbow, I could not fret the guitar in its traditional fashion. I began playing guitar this way, and could never have kept up playing had I tried to switch to the standard. This is the way I play.

This is my cover of the Hendrix classic. Enjoy!

  • GREAT COVER..it would be really something if you learned standard than used this overhand as a showmanship type of thing
