  • As an American who grow up playing Basketball, and football, I got into Muay-Thai when I was in College an absolutely fell in love with the sport. Lol, I remember the first time I got n the ring it was like I had got in touch with something that I knew I'd love for the rest of my life.

Thanks Thailand, you introduced one of the greatest sports in the world to the rest of the planet.

  • @calito44 You are so funny man. Shin guard and padding? Thai people have been doing this for thousand of years.

  • i was bullied in my childhood. i wanna be strong. i fought muay thai since i was 16 back then i didnt know anything.. nothing. i saw the banner and i came in cause i just wanna try the sport. the people were surprised that i didnt have any coach or corner man. i got beaten up real bad i was knocked out in the 1st round with 3 knees to the face.. all i know is how to throw a haymaker punch. after the fight i was approached by 1 of the gym owner and invited me to join the gym. then now im 21 :)

  • @azn0180 Even I do not like to see kids battlng each other..I understand that mt for me is an after job sport and for them is a way to make a buck and bring some bread to their homes... But at least I would like to see some protection in them. I mean shin guard, elbow that stuff..

  • @useajonny yea its very much like deep heat, i suppose you do a less vigarous warm up, generally the thais will be very relaxed in the first 2 rounds of the fight and kinda treat that as their warm up, maybe abit of shadow boxing or something but i never really see them warm up a whole lot before fights, but with thai oil and the heat of the stadiums anyway (most are just fan assisted and packed so your hot anyway) your generally fairly warm, it does also loosen you up

  • @jonny232323232323 ahhh so a bit like deep heat, instead of doing a warm up ?

  • @useajonny pre fight massage, they use thai oil wich feels abit like a warm menthol and rub it into you and then stretch your muscles etc, like thai massage it isnt that pleasant

  • 5:34 i mean ?

  • what is the trainer doing at 5:30

  • Namkabuan vs Therdikiat!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Feel sorry for those boy having to fight at a young age for a living. It is good to train but not to fight for a living.
