This talk by sceptics of a weather balloon and project mogul is a total joke. Men such as Jack Trowbridge and Jesse Marcel were clever guys working in military intelligence for their country. Do you think they would not know a weather balloon made of ordinairy materials when they saw it. No, they found something that they KNEW to be not of this world. End of story.

The debunkers, (and military) keep saying "Project Mogul". Project Mogul was several dozen balloons tethered together with foil reflectors hanging underneath. In all the reports of the debris, no one said they found any rope, or cable, which would have connected the Mogul balloons. And balloons come down with a rip or tear. They don't come down in thousands of little pieces.

Each time the military changed their story, they lost more credibility. Their attempt at deceit backfired.

This was an orchestrated coverup of an extraordinary event (Proof? The Batelle Milit. institute Report , in 1949, officially revealing the material makeup..and the before-death affidavit of Walter Haut, then the Roswell base Public Info. Officer. The affidavit , released in 2007, two years after his death, revealed he saw the craft and two alien bodies, one day after the recovery. Weather balloon...my ass.

@Sims3101lover if the roswell incident is a lie, why did the military create the lie to generate money and then tell the "truth" only one day later? one day isn't long enough to generate money for the poor economy back then. also, why are the fake witnesses still telling the lie even after it's no longer necessary? why do veterans who were there continue to tell the lie? why were radio stations in that area told by the fbi at the time to stop telling the lie? shouldn't they have been encouraged?
