  • This video has been denounced by the International Fencing Federation (FIE). It contains interviews that have been edited. When they were edited, some things that disagree with the creator's false concept that an attack in sabre from the low line had less priority than an attack in the high line. What is shown in this video is incorrect. I, George Kolombatovich, state this as the former President of the FIE's Refereeing Commission.

  • Ok, this is reasonable. Why don't the directors use these guides in practice? O_o

  • I find it funny that although the explanations are correct, like most fencing trainers today, when at 5:24 the trainer demonstrates a step-lunge, the stretching of the arm isn't continuous, but in two fencing tempos. I don't know where people get that we don't see it. If you can't parry the first part of the attack, then it isn't an attack. People like this are better off stretching their arm all the way in the step.

Thanks for the enlightment by uploading this. - A very useful tool not only for judging but for educating and training in clubs as well. Grazie! Danke! Merci! Köszönöm!
