The movie shows how easy it is to wipe the surface clean from the RoboPlotter-robot's washable colors on a cellular marble floor.
RoboPlotter is a system that takes CAD data and prints the outlines as well as the numbers of the stands directly on the fair hall floor. When the CAD drawing of a fair is ready and it is time to start building all the stands, one simply executes a macro in AutoCad which exports an xml file to a USB stick. The USB stick is inserted in the robot, the user presses the start button, and the robot prints the layouts directly on the floor, so that the carpenters can start to build the stands. When the fair is over and its time for a new fair, one simply uses a different color or removes the old color before the next fair. The advantages are quicker turn-around times as well as saving labour.
