A Scoliosis Brace

This is just me explaining what a scoliosis brace is and using mine as an example

I wore a Boston Brace 23 hours a day for almost three years and have began the weaning process of coming out of it
If you're wearing a scoliosis brace and have any questions or advice you want to give to others, please contact me. I would actually like to make a website or blog dedicated to kids with scoliosis and would love some help.
And if you are wearing a brace, I hope you keep your chin held high my fellow turtle and remember that this is only temporary, soon you'll be out of it as good as new with a straight back, wisdom, and have avoided surgery and never have to worry about your back again.

@GuilzleSuisse Oh yes, I'm sorry, it kinda got put on the back burner. However, I can't put on mine by myself so I'll need to find someone willing to do it on video. So hopefully in a few days I'll have it up.

I have 2 get a brace in 4 days. How long did it take for yours to b made. Also if you dont mind me asking. What would i wear with a boston brace? Thank you!

@Sweetnspicy589 High waited skirts are also an easy fix, the hid the bottom and the skirts go over the brace. Cardigans, sweaters, and definitely vests are must haves. They cover the top bump well, however, if your brace goes up as high as mine does, cardigans for the most part are too clingy. There are other things you could wear also, but i honestly can't think of any right now. But if you suggest something, I can defiantly tell you if it would work or not

@ThePurplepaw aww, thank you so much! its not creepy at all. : p but at least u don't have straps on top, which is a good thing for summer., which is going to be the biggest pain in the world to dress for

@BrittBrat500 Well I just got mine in November so I have just been wearing a sweatshirt and using my hair to cover it any lines that show. Mine doesn't have the strap. Not to be creepy of anything but you are really pretty!

@Sweetnspicy589 mine took... hum. It was a week later. And of course I don't mind you asking, you can ask me anything you want! Clothes that are good with a boston brace are empire waist shirts, the ones that flow at the bottom. Patterned shirts are also good ideas, they camouflage the brace better. unless its horizontal stripes. It makes it more obvious if anything.

@megamillion145 oo purple. i wish i was able to have mine a color. My doctor has started reducing my time in it since its finally time to take it off, but i was at 23 hours a day for three years. now I'm suppose to have it off for 10 hours, but it normally ends up being 12.

i have one and its purple i have to wear mine 20 hours how long to you have to wear yours

@ThePurplepaw really? normally the ones I've seen don't go up as high. If you don't mind me asking, what type of shirts do you wear to school? Cause sometimes people give you tips, but then its not the same type of brace
