Okeechobee Pro Rodeo 2008

This was in slack. Had a really nice run besides the barrel tipping over....would have placed 4th and won around $700. Maybe next time I will remember to keep my hand down and use my legs! Here are the results:

I hit the 2nd barrel so I didn't place. My time of a 17.76 would have put me 4th.

he looks like he is not getting a hold of the ground, his legs dont look like they are sliding around the barrel like they should.

It's heavy deep rodeo ground...not the kind that you can just slide around. I went back this year and got a check!

i love to watch you and your horse run! he is so cool, too bad that dang 2nd barrel fell!

@svan040395 in barrel racing you help your horse out in the turns the more square you stay in the saddle. They are running really fast and turning really powerful....we use the horse to keep us balanced. If you have a really nice horse you should be able to keep one hand on the horn the entire run...it also helps you to not over handle their faces.
