The difference is that if there were evidence of god, I'd concede and admit that I was wrong. Christians, on the other hand, REFUSE to admit that ultimately, there is NO evidence for their cause, other than what they twist around for their own benefit. humans are technically animals and each animal has something unique about them and in our case its our brain capacity.

It's called science, and there is provable, testable evidence of what you mentioned.

The Jews, "God's chosen people", had faith too. They had faith while 6 million of their mothers, fathers, daughters and sons were systematically burned, hanged, gassed, shot, beaten, starved and otherwise tortured while god did NOTHING. What's your explanation for that? Come on now, when you're with that, I have a million more examples of god not being there when he said he would be.

And what about all of the earth and the human body, the animals, the oceans and mountains...all just part of a big bang? All just operating by their evelutionary instincts...I'm not buying any of that. Your right about Joseph Smith and Allah, people will give them the praise, thats why I said the proof for me. You will not ever know what proof I'm talking about unless, either God shows you or, you allow God to come in and show you. If you ask in faith he will give you all the proof you need.

'Proof' for you...tangible right? Look at the earth and all of its beauty. Think about how everything works the way it does. Think about the human body...healing, function, and purpose. To me that is proof enough...maybe not for you but for me it is. I'm not one to bash you for believing different than I do, so I hope you know and understand that I love you in Christ and so does he. I hope that one day you will see God's marvelous light. No disrespect & no condemnation, just love and truth.

The bible is not "words on a page written by humans" Yeah the word was written by humans, but it is GOD's word, not anyone else. Romans 1:19 & 20 says that God has made himself evident to you within. As far as 'proof'...for me: the proof is myself - meaning I would never be where I am in life today without Jesus. I was a hopeless, homeless junkie waiting around to die, and he saved me, there is no way that I would have made the decisions that I made to get clean and stay clean without him.
