Here I thought you were going to make a nice long cushion for Scrappy to relax on. Still, your pillow was a nifty tutorial. Thanks.

how do you take the pillow cover off to wash it?

Meg, you've totally inspired me! I'm looking to do cushion covers with some fabric I found on clearance and was just a little nervous to cut it. Not anymore! I love your website and your tutorials - you're the kind of home maker I want to be! Keep up the great work.

I throw the whole pillow into the washing machine! However, if you want a cover that's removable, you need to sew it slightly differently. Seam an edge all the way around the rectangle of fabric, then 'fold' it over the pillow, overlapping by 2 inches. sew the outside edges around the pillow but leave the 'overlap' unsewn. This way, the pillow will pop out when you need to wash the cover. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks and best wishes! Meg
