@TheJohnRitchie Oh really? Your name certainly implies that...

I've seen Ritchie Blackmore many times and he's been disgraceful. He seems to get bored after the second or third song and then proceeds to fart about for the remainder of the set trying to show off (sounds like that here). I've even witnessed him walking off which is an insult to the audience. Although good in his day he got left behind in the late seventies when Van Halen came along. Purple had some great songs but what a prick to work with. He's not as good as he thinks he is.

Suck kuul n eavy music fk me it was the sound, dont need dope to listen to this, have to say Ian is the only vocal worth anything with DP LOVE IT!!

@bessadale really? wow!!! i didn´t think that i´d find a person with my vocal preferences... i am an amateur singer too and i love performing tha MKIII songs, specially burn.
-
@Sojic82 i think the same, because sometimes Gillan´s voice gets boring

Dang it! Where can I find the other songs from this album? I'm looking for Mistreated from Mk III live (the final concerts) but keep hearing the California performance. That can't be it. I know its different. The vocals (screaming) is just plain EPIC in the one version. I dunno if its CD1 or CD2. Someone stole my CDs a while back and I haven't heard this song in so long. I need to hear it. NOW preferably!!

I think “Great” Ritchie Blackmore broke his guitar in this song “Highway Star”.

@tariksba There is an album of this concert, it was released by Purple Records as "La Dernière Seance - Live in Paris 1975"

I like Coverdale -Huges duet, but I think they destroyed the Gillan era songs.

@aguslora I don't think so. It was more a problem with Glenn Hughes' drug addiction, which made him go way over the top sometimes. David Coverdale sang well and respected the MKII songs.

Glenn Hughes är fruktansvärt grym sjunger bättre än alla Purple medlemmar.

Det är därför han kallas "The Voice of Rock" :)
