I guess being disabled has its rewards. Due to a disability I have always had to save every cent because I never knew if and when I would not be able to work anymore. My little condo is paid off and my 15 year old car is certainly paid off, have no kids and a wife with a pretty good job. We have plenty of "cash" in the bank.....I just don't know what to do with it.....how to keep it safe...gold and silver is awfully high right now....afraid to buy any.

Margin calls. Same thing will happen again do to fractional reserve lending. Banks are way over their heads and we the people will pay for it. Look for higher taxes regardless who is elected. 12 Billion a month on a war that is based on lies doesn't help much either.

Your going to see something worse if Gas and Food prices don't come down and the value of the dollar goes up along with the housing market........We are all living on credit -"signature" loans they can be called in on a 24 hr. notice.........and we don't have the cash...
