The interior art that isn't line art (the shaded, moody pieces) is actually not by the author but by Michael Cunliffe.

No, please, that is what distinguishes pencil and paper roleplaying games from any other: the rules, and how they cater to the imagination. Anyone can write fan-fiction or tell a tale, not everyone can adjudicate make-believe, and because of this, some systems work better with less rules while others utilize more.

This looks interesting but I can't seem to find a place where I can actually buy it...

If you like this game, look for Meddling Kids. It is an introductory RPG for kids in the Scooby Doo style.

My friend runs a horror game every halloween, and the number of players in the group is rather large. So rules heavy systems for that game tend to bog things down. I'll definitely recommend he take a look at this for that game alone.

Sounds interesting, I'll have to take a look.
some of the art reminded me, have you ever thought of reviewing Dark Heresy? I understand if you haven't, I remember you saying you only review things you like or maybe if someone give you it.

This looks like it could be a lot of fun, it seems like a decent game with little or no prep time. I'll definitely check it out.

An excellent analysis. I'm a big foan of late show, and this game feels mostly the same, but with a sensible system and a less Demonica....
I prefer rules sexy. Thats the real thing that will keep PnP alive.

I've run this game once and played it twice. All sense of preservation for your character goes when you realise life/drama points are earned by doing things like "investigating that noise outside the tent" or "going to the car park alone to get your keys." Very good fun, I already plan on introducing new gamers to it around a campfire.
