John Gavin, played by Denis Leary, is the only one in the fire bregade to have the guts to wrap up the remains of a child killed in a traffic accident.
He can cope with it, as he lost his only son child some years ago, also when little and also in a traffic accident.

The way the scene is handled, is touching and the only way how to do such a delicate thing on TV!
Most impressive.
