vw Splitscreen van with dodge viper engine

This is a nuts dodge viper V10 powered vw splitscreen van seen at bugjam 2009 at santa pod, it was 8" wider at the front and about 10" wider at the back or something. Pure crazyness!

@doggiebigfoot I think probably just because he could. I sometimes ask why would you do that to a splitty but then again if it was totally kippered and slightly beyond worth saving then why not use whats left to build something crazy! I think the engine now has a cover of some sorts, stick some sides on and it could be used as a fast pickup truck! The plus point is the back is wider and longer than an original :o)
