Things have certainly moved on since the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops. The reduced 960x540 resolution on PlayStation 3 that we saw in the Treyarch game is a thing of the past - we see an identical 1024x600 with 2x multi-sample anti-aliasing on both platforms.

Modern Warfare 3: Xbox 360 vs. PC Video

The lead console platform for Modern Warfare 3 engages with a top-spec PC. Native 1024x600, 2x multi-sample anti-aliasing on the Xbox 360 is a bit of a visual downgrade compared to the 4x MSAA, full 1280x720 we see here on the PC. There isn't much in the way of additional visual effects on PC, but the implementation of screen-space ambient occlusion (SSAO) is a welcome bonus in addition to higher precision effects elsewhere.

In this video we see a comparison of the vanilla PlayStation 3 version of Modern Warfare 3 put up against a full-power PC running the same game at native 720p with 4x MSAA engaged and max settings across the board. The native resolution boost alone adds a great deal to the quality of the visuals, but the PC also includes SSAO for a subtle effect that adds a richness of depth to some scenes.

@123vinimaxo456 Check out The Last Of Us, it's a PS3 exclusive currently in working progress by Naughty Dog. The Xbox can't run that due to it's processor, the PS3 has a Cell processor which are commonly found in Super Computers. BF3 also runs better on the PS3, hence why Dice said PS3 can handle more than the Xbox, but the game is designed very well so it looks equal on both. I noticed differences, the 360 version was missing detail. I have both so it doesn't really matter to me.

i have an hd led monitor + i7 processor and 1080p on my pc so its better than some of my friends that have xbox and ps3 ;)

The ps3 settings whur fu..t with.But the pc is the best bicos you can change graphic card settings to make graphic even better

for ps3 users go to settings>display settings>turn rgb limited to full. Problem solved
