A very nice river to fish in but not cheap if you are thinking of going to Iceland on a fishing trip i is always worth buying a Veiðikort this will give you access to 35 lakes and rivers all around Iceland for about £40.

Us west coast steelheaders (aka bushwhackers) are envious of those open fields next to the river. Looks like a killer trip--never fished Atlantics but they seem a lot like steelies.

very nice video, beautiful fish and nature. Absolutely wonderful! Love from first sight, it seems to be a must go place, next year maybe it will be possible for me to go there. Actually it is wierd, i've been in Kola Peninsula like 5, Finmark 3 times and Iceland 0, gotta make some changes in my life
