@azmiltm This Silver Beach was on Lake Michigan in St.Joseph/Benton harbor.....where they have the Venetian Festival.....the other Silver Lake I know is the Dunes where everyone takes Sand rails and Buggies.......

@azmiltm Silver Beach was a small amusement park also,but went when I was younger,now they have refurbished some of it ,so it`s not all gone.

Google Earth now shows an empty area with a stage?.....and some remnants of what used to be there,mostly cleaned away.......mining area is farther up Mt.park road......what I see.....Too bad the Town let it go down,instead of rallying to save it.!!!....they had since 1987 to save it!

the merry go round is still in holyoke & is refurbished & is open to the public for riding. I had my 17th birthday party there! it was awesome. Its so sad to kno i wasnt even born to go to this park. T.T But I do kno that the reason why it closed down was cuz Riverside(now Six Flags) was more modern & has better rides than they did. I never seen the site tho. I wanna kno exactly where it is.
