    Stevie Wonder with Stanley Clarke... doing Giant Steps... LOVE IT.... It's one tough song to improvise over and Stevie never ceases to amaze me with all the varied projects he does... We are blessed to have him!

    I had no idea Stevie could solo over the Giant Steps pattern...even knowing what a wonderful talent he has! I heard him first on a Philly AM station, probably WFIL, on my transistor radio waiting for the junior high school bus in southeastern Penna... I always admired his music and I was influenced by him when I became a professional musician in the 1970's....but to do Giant Steps is a real challenge.

    Exactly !! Herbie Hancock sayed this about Stevie. Somelike a "He's don't know the rules. So, don't know he's breaking as."

    And if we listen carefully the B-Sides of Stevie, we can get the Hancock opinion. It's WONDERful !!!
