Stevie is so great and he inspires MANY people to find their own greatness. One of the most important musicians in ANY genre, in fact he transcends genres and categories.

Just got my mind blown! :) Thank you!

drums sound like a midi loop, groovless. Great playing though.

I had no idea Stevie could solo over the Giant Steps pattern...even knowing what a wonderful talent he has! I heard him first on a Philly AM station, probably WFIL, on my transistor radio waiting for the junior high school bus in southeastern Penna... I always admired his music and I was influenced by him when I became a professional musician in the 1970's....but to do Giant Steps is a real challenge.

Stevie will imho go up as one of the great jazz composers of the late 20th century..many of his compositions are so harmonically rich & sophisticated that they deserve to be standards

@JazzLoverKhurram Exactly !! Herbie Hancock sayed this about Stevie. Somelike a "He's don't know the rules. So, don't know he's breaking as."
And if we listen carefully the B-Sides of Stevie, we can get the Hancock opinion. It's WONDERful !!!
