so fondant has to eaten the same day that it is made? My son birthday is coming up and I'm scared its gonna look slimy.

um- no...it wont get slimy at all once you put fondant on the cake. the very surface layer will kinda dry/harden just a little bit and will protect and keep the inside moist.

love your cakes. I'm new at this and watching your videos just make me want to try all new things. I tried putting fondant on my cupcakes and placed in the cupcake container but the next day my fondant looks slimy and melted. What is the cause of this? Please help!!!

fondant will absorb moisture... esp if you wait til the next day to serve it... same thing will happen if you refrigerate the cupcakes and then add fondant on top..it will absorb moisture as well
