This was my first public reading at the AVA Bar in Bangor Northern Ireland. As you can see I was very nervous. My partnet was also so nervous she forgot to press record before i was halkway threough the beginning. But maybe its just as well. There where alot of imortant people there of course. Hosted by Malachi O'Doherty and poet Heidi Lynn Stables. Cahal Dallat Antony Toney and his band played us through the rest of the evening. I great ending the the festival and one I am greatfull to have been part off. I read my first poem "Of Ireland Born" which was from my recently published Book "For Irish Eyes" and a poem writen recently in dedication to my grandfather Jimmy who worked a life time at Harland and Wolff Shipyard Belfast. That poem is called "The Yard".
