Ah but the mccanns have publically stated via their portuguese lawyer that they DO NOT WANT THE PROCESS REOPENED.

PS - They write about Madeleine to assist her return, they know she isnt coming back and they delay the book launch that has already been written even further so it doesnt clash with the royal wedding.

Perhaps now the UK press have *finally* admitted the UK police's active part in the investigation, within which the conclusion of the McCanns' involvement was shared by police of both nations, all the racist allegations against the Portuguese police can stop. The McCanns made me ashamed to be British.

I see they still want to set Raymond Hewlitt up then? He has denied this from day one, though I suppose a sex offender would anyway. I find the McCanns very hard to believe. Sadly, we are no closer to finding out what happened to Madeleine. I think the man on this video summed it up nicely at the end: 12 months on and we have not moved forward at all towards Justice for Maddy. Only Libel trials and mud slinging at this point.

MWT is right about the 'working together' bit, but he's barking at the wrong tree when he addresses 'the Portuguese' - the McCanns are the ones who let the case be shelved and have not come forward and do a reconstruction, cooperate with the Police and urge the re-opening of the case. That's what Mr. MWT and others everywhere should be quering.
