A few slow laps of the Streets of Willow Springs during the 3rd session of Level 3 with the California Superbike School on my 2006 Yamaha R1. The exercise here was "pivot steering" with the format of the drill being 2nd 3rd and 4th gear with light brakes. You can see that I could get on the gas a lot sooner in most turns, but this was improved the next day especially after seeing the video. It makes for a great tool. Thanks to the instructor Lonnie, who was riding the camera bike, for providing the video from the chase cam and showing me some good lines!

  • Thanks Lyle. My lines and throttle control really sucked in this session but It's great to actually see it and learn from my mistakes. Hopefully, I'll get a better vid next time I'm out there.

  • Great video thanks for the ride. The sound is qreat quality! What camera did you use?

  • Not too shabby Sof. With your gear and brake restrictions and the fact that you were focusing on your drill you still did about a 1:40. If you were trying to go faster you could probably shave off about a minute and 39 seconds, hahaha.
