I never knew my father. As a boy I missed having one. As a man today I found him. Deep, deep within, the reflection looking back at me in the mirror, a self-made man ... the father of my beloved children ... me.

Best of luck in your search of him. I have done genealogy and surprisingly I have found tons of data by just researching him online. Easy to do, you may be only a few clicks away from your dream. Much of the genealogy data out there is really easy to locate without even spending cash. If you write an email to me I can suggest websites and directions online for your search. It may be worth your effort. I didn't find Dad that way but the data he never told me about his family is online.Good Luck!

I share many of the same feelings here shared by us Fatherless kids. I was lucky (?) and met him face to face 1 time. Because of his then family, I will always be the outsider, even tho we share the same blood and more. The sadness will never leave me I know and I will be getting near 60. Not a day goes by.. He passed away and I had to beg to be a part of the funeral.Now I still have issues with younger siblings and others that will NEVER UNDERSTAND. Take care of yourselves,GOD knows DAD didn't.

Fathers' can be great buddies, but life could be cruel yet has to go on.....get over it all ! Keep the best. Remember your father too someone so affectionate as you....!

Stephane , think the other situation , having a father who pays no attention to you or your brothers even your mother , who complains and shouts all the time , who never actually said that he loves you or he is proud of you , is it better than not having a father but a quiet life ? knowing your father is not a good man is worse than not knowing your father . There are people out there who hurt the people who love them
