A man holds a sign asking the question- What's so "pro-life" about poverty, the death penalty, and war?
He also refers to the Republicans as using his Christian religion to promote their party stating that Jesus was more about humnity overall than just singing out one issue or cause.
He talks about the problem of being in Stark County standing out alone with the sign with people driving by and their various reactions to his sign.
so he is protesting seeming inconsistencies in those who are pro-life for innocent unborn babies. it seems like he assumes that they aren't also against capital punishment or war, so that might disqualify their efforts to claim to be pro-life., and maybe even disqualify the postition of pro-life itself. why not spend more time saying if you're pro-life, stand by that, but consider doing more re: poverty, war, adopt a child, etc. but i didn't see any evidence that that was his intent. too bad...
