She is expert at making values-oriented statements. She may be short on specifics, but unless voters realize that she isn't delivering enough details, her simple value propositions (better, fairer, tougher, etc.) make her a very compelling debater.

ahhh....conservatives who think she's presidential, funny. LIberals who waste their time getting angry and pissy about her...whining and crying like babies, funnier. My take, i'd never vote for her as president, she's not dumb, she's not that smart either, and she's hot. I'd like to make out her.

If she would have debated in this fashion during the general election '08 might have been a different story. For some reason, her handlers decided that they needed her to folksy up her demeanor in order to appeal to the Republican base, but by doing so alienated the sizable independent body. In this debate there is none of that eye-winking, "I'm just you", soccer mom crap, but a confident woman in control of her facts. What has become of her today is a sad sight to behold indeed.

it's incredible how relevant some of those issues and her expertise are now to the NATIONAL scene: think oil spills and oil company regulation. Palin 2012! :)

wow, without tina fey imitating her and making fun of her accent, she looks a LOT smarter (not that I ever doubted it). Now I'm remembering why I wanted McCain to pick her in August.....She has some REAL potential.
