  • Ignore the adverse comments, this is a wonderful version. It lifts it into a new dimension, from fragile to solid, as it were. Fits well on the Still Waters album which is varied and ever enchanting. As this song is!

Sorry, those who don't care for it, this diehard 4 Tops fan loves it!

  • Couldnt agree with you more, i just think its people are just used to the version they know and dont give it time?? Thanks for commenting too, biased i may be but Levi Stubbs makes any song sound quality!!

  • Excellent version of Elusive Butterfly. I heard this before I heard Bob Lind actually when I bought the Four Tops many years ago when it came out.

I like both Levi//Four Tops and Bob Lind's versions. Just 2 different Giants of music that both sound great in their own styles.

  • This is not only the best versions, it's a hidden treasure.

  • It's great to see how many people and types of music groups loved this song. You did good Bob. Thanks to Wes170 for posting this great version.
