Released Activist: "I Am the Face of Terrorism"

Lori Berenson, an American activist just released in Peru, says she regrets being the "face of terrorism" in the country. She says the Peruvian government wants to put her back in prison. (Nov. 10)

@farcher3 I don't think Fujimori benefits in anything from having arrested her because she caused so much trouble (and there is so much people who believe in her innocence like some commenting on this video) like the "great" Ophra who made a programme showing her parents crying and claiming "she is a good girl" and everyone else who could speak against our gov. in that time BUT nothing from our part not even a phonecall. @virgisignotierra Part 2 of 2. But in a way she's right. She was used by all. The Shining Path used her and so did the Peruvian Gov't as the enemy to unify the state and rally against it. She unknowingly made Fujumori a hero worldwide. Yes, she's a commie scumbag but she's also a "patsy" like Oswald, DeFreeze, and even Richard "shoe bomber" Reid. The '96 showtrial press conference finished her off. IF she gets back to the USA & opens her big mouth in support of moslems she's be sent to Gitmo.

Seems the obvious choice. Peru's Government doesn't believe she pose any significant risk. The US routinely deports directly from Prison all Prisoners without documentation. They get a ride to the deportation by the Federal Marshall Service. Most people are flown back within a week of release.
