I was just wondering which version of the software you're using. I have been using the Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 version for the last 4 days but thats still it's not very accurate (only around 50%). Just let me know which version and how much time u spent training it ??

@vanmaarwijk Hi - this was made with version 8 of DNS. If your accuracy is only 50% then clearly something is not right. The likeliest problem is your audio settings - are you using (preferably) a USB headset with noise cancelling mic? Go into the Accuracy Centre in the tools menu and click the 'Check your audio settings' link - do you pass the 'quality settings'.

Other issues could be the version of DNS and both the OS and MS Office. V10 of DNS does not work well with MS Office 2010.

@vanmaarwijk Hi - sorry for delay in replying. In the tutorials I was using DNS 8. I have been using Dragon for about 7 yrs and am an accredited trainer in DNS 10 pro. You said you had an accent - that could be affecting Dragon's performance. Some accents are catered for when you set a new user up - there's more choice if you opt for US English (in DNS 10). To improve your results ensure you use the Correct comand for mistakes Dragon makes.

@purpleshamrock17 Hi - yes it should work in Facebook - tho haven't tried it myself - but you won't get the same range of commands as in Word.

Does this program add in punctuations like comma's and apostrophe's? That's the main factor for me. My grammer skills are terrible and I'd want this program so I wouldn't have so many punctuation errors. Does this program add automatically the correct punctuation to complex sentences? And does it type onto like microsoft works, open office, or any writing program? Or does it have a specifc dragon writing program? And can I download it onto say my laptop and work laptop or just one? Please reply!

@simontavi567 yeah i did pass the audio test and its a noise cancelling mic, i guess its my weird accent, btw how long shud it take to get fully used to someones voice ? ive been using it for arnd 5 days and itsimproving a lil nw
