  • If I knew THAT... I would be a very rich man! : ) The 'right' amount will vary based on your individual needs and goals. There are many factors to consider. As a general 'rule of thumb' most people can only handle exercising about 2-4 times a week on a regular basis. Anything more than that and you will soon burn out and all progress will cease. Fat loss: closer to 4 times. Muscle gain: closer to 2 times. Again, it depends. Thanks for your comment jamesyboy2007!
