@sarahbjulien Me too. I have a male Maine Coon, and they could be twins. But, that's not bad, Maine Coons are the most wonderful cat to own!!

I think someone is pulling your leg as far as a bobcat hybrid. I really don't see any Bobcat and I am around a ton of wild cats. I would have a DNA done and I'll bet you will find out he is all domestic. VERY BEAUTIFUL SWEET CAT. I'd love to have a hybrid, but is you have a 50% wild hybrid, you would be dealing with a ton of wild cat issues. Sorry they swindled you and hope they didn't charge you a ton of money.

He has taken more of his house cat side because he is all house cat. It is not possible to breed any house cat with a bob cat. The sperm and egg from the different species are not biologically viable.

@TadaKiba He looks like a Main Coon, we have rescued a look alike that came up out of the canyons in the Santa Monica Mountain range, nursed him to health his paws are gynormous he looks just like this wonder what his origins are. hmmmm cute though.

@xWolfHauntx :O Those are some light cats.
-
@TadaKiba Well not for the mum cat, her mother was 6lbs and her father was a mere 8. and all the siblings were between 5 and 9lbs, except for her. So for that cat, she was considered big, or bigger at least. lol
-
@xWolfHauntx 12-14lbs is the normal weight for a cat.
-
@TadaKiba My friend owns my cat's mum, and his dad lived in the same cult-e-sac. lol The mum was a good 12-14 lbs herself, so I guess my cat just got the big genes in his family. lol My new kitten will be only anywhere from 14-20lbs, which sucks, I miss my huge cat. lol(He doesn't live with me right now)

@xWolfHauntx My mix was rescued from the street, so we don't know his parents. 30lbs is uncommon, but not rare.
looks like a normal maine coon to me...?
