@mrfrog44 Actually, yes there is. The writer, Dan O'Bannon, specifically said he was not going after the women in the audience, he was going after the men. He used the facehuggers to represent homosexual oral rape. He wanted the men in the audience to cross their legs. That is a direct quote from him. The alien is full of phallic symbols, (head shape, double mouth), and there is most definitely a rape/sexual undertone.

I would have never entered that room. i would be like its dark the door is oddly cracked to the room and i would have not been chilling in dark room dripping water while MR.CREEPY wakes from its nap on some barrel hanging from a chain and comes down like its a fairy tale gone honorably wrong and bites me and later turns me into recycled egg!! that guys had plenty of warnings.
