Yep thats pretty small even for the UK standards. Iv seen smaller. There was one Iv seen that you could just get a bed in, it had one window and you couldnt open the door fully. It was horrendously expensive for its size but it was somewhere like Chelsea which is a very rich area.

I've seen smaller, where the door opens outwards and basically the room is exactly the size of a bed. So you just climb into bed, there is no ground. lol

One communal kitchen and two bathroom/showers were shared among the ~10-17 tenants of the apartment building. Pretty small, huh!?!

When you sleep do you have to open the door so that you can stick your feet out and fit comfortably in there?
Wow! That is small! Doesn't surprise me to see something like that in Japan.

Haha, luckiliy the single bed just fits in the corner!
This room is smack-dab in the middle of Tokyo. I live in a village and my apartment was surprisingly large!
