Mark Knopfler Local Hero Theme - Night in London

In tribute to the great Sir Bobby Robson who sadly lost his battle with cancer, Friday morning 7/31 @ 6.30am. A great man and world renowned and well respected manager in football and lifelong fan of Newcastle United. Here is the music which greets all fans and players right before the start of each Newcastle home game. Originally taken from the movie Local Hero, it's Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits and a track which is actually entitled Going Home but more commonly known as Local Hero. And fans out there can't deny that Sir Bobby was just that.

I was going to put up the original track, but this sites rights issues kicked in and it was silenced. That aside, Sir Bobby will be missed, not just by the clubs he managed, but by fans the world over. He was, as they now say, Mr. Football. A fighter right to the end. Touched the hearts of millions. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
