Nine deputies violated Sheriff's procedures during this fiasco. Three deputies lost their jobs, two resigned and one was fired. Sterner requested that Ms. Marshall-Jones serve her 100 hours of community service working with people with disabilities. She will not be able to work again in law enforcement again. Three other deputies were suspended three days without pay.

The woman who dumped him out resigned and was charged with assault. The woman watching and doing the search also resigned, and the other woman was fired. The two men present were reprimanded and one was suspended three days. The deputies who transported him on the floor of their van were also reprimanded. The guy is suing the department.
