Advil is an NSAID pain reliever and like others such as Aspirin which does have blood thinning properties you run the risk of a stomach bleed. So, you are correct that there are side affects, but you have that with any medication.

It depends on what you are taking. Over the counter Liqui gel doesnt even have as many warning as you showed. Side effects are always present because 0.000001% of people always like to complain and blame it on the medicine.
