Thanks to the author for this lovely tribute to my airline. My career spanned nearly 40 years, as mechanic, professional flight engineer and International relief pilot - - DC-3s to 747s. Great people working there made it the great airline it was. Ah, memories. "Just Plane Bill"

I had the pleasure of flying TWA several times and every flight was smooth, the service fantastic, and every landing a grease job. There will never be an airline like TWA. They were a true class act and I miss them terribly. No airline today even comes close.

teddybear There's no doubt by your demeanor, and lack of knowledge that your position in the industry is limited to a "Skycap" at best a "Wheelchair Assistant" but then again AA/AMR ignorance is well documented in the industry!

FYI-Emergency exits are in coach and I can tell you're not qualified to be seated in that row. By you comment about "the hot towels" you've never flown, viewing videos will never get you a HOT TOWEL IN COACH. ...Lol

teddybear, If you happen to be seated in a "window exit" and have the mental capacity and reader intellect to debrief the "Emergency Procedures Card" placed in the seat pocket in front of you before takeoff you might be capable, you sound overconfident and ignorant enough to get yourself and fellow passengers killed in a situation, regarding a cabin door?

You might google the info but you wouldn't have a clue!

Go back to AA/AMR Ticket Counter fool!

twtr4ever and I served honorably and loyally TWA until our departure after acquisition & liquidator Carl Icahn clear strategy of selling the assets, antagonizing the work force and breaking the unions will force many of us to depart.

Even as we fly for other airlines today and keep in touch regularly our hearts will always be at TWA!
