http://homerepair.gregvan.com/ Before you cut any foundation slab, make sure that you're cutting in the right place, otherwise you're going to have problems with your plumbing. Remember that most plumbing pipes used in 90° angles, 45° angles and 22 1/2 degree angles. For this bathroom remodeling project it was going to be easier for the plumber to use one 45° bend to pick up the sink, bathtub, shower and toilet. If the plumber would have used a 90° bend it would have increased the length of pipe needed to reach the toilet and shower. Cutting the concrete slab inside of a home will require plenty of ventilation, especially if you're using a gas powered saw and a wet vacuum. Make sure that you protect any of the wall framing, carpeting or other flooring, before cutting into the concrete floor slab.
