Wat Phra That Mae Yen , Pai , Mae Hong Son, Thailand

Wat Phra That Mae Yen is located in the hills outside of Pai. Many foreign travelers come here and climb up the long stair case to the temple. There is an interesting old chedi at the temple and also murals that were painted by a local artist about the previous lives of the Buddha. Wat Phra that Mae Yen is a good place of sight-seeing.
It is told that here is very good for seeing the sunset. It is gradually going down behind the hills with the shine reflecting the gold rice field.
