  • wow looks like there not even carin 20 yards of dirt, why arent they push pullin, its kinda pointless for them to be running if there not pushpullin

  • @Vapor300 Too many hazards in the road to hook up, you can see some of the manholes in the video.

  • what is a packer

  • Just google cat 815. It's used to compact (pack) the dirt in the fill so it doesn't settle later on and cause holes.

  • @vantagetes well seeing the picture makes me wonder y i asked the question if u guys had said compactor instead i would hav known wat u were talking about but no worries

  • Nicknames for everything! Buggies = scrapers, wiggle wagons = articulating rock trucks, hoes = excavators etc.

  • Nice video.Would have liked to see them looked up together doing this.

  • @vantagetes i c it now makes sense i sort of figured wiggle wagons were the dumptrucks but i want sure and i had no idea wat a buggie was so thanks

  • The 650-series scrapers appear to heap about 45 cubic yards in their bowls. However, these scrapers pale in comparison to Caterpillar's 666B scraper, widely regarded as the best scraper ever made. Sadly, Caterpillar discontinued the 666B in 1979 but a few examples still exist in running condition. Maybe some 666B's will be restored to like-new condition and displayed in museums or reused in oil sands, construction, mines, and quarries around the world. Oh, the 666B can hold 54 cubic yards.

  • That's normal, the apron has trouble closing all the way when the bowl is full so a little bit spills out.
