Frank Owen Gehry (1929- ) has become one of the most celebrated and one of the most criticized architects of our time. He found notoriety in the 1970's with his cardboard furniture and the renovations to his personal residence (Included in video). The only music that seemed appropriate was Jimi Hendrix.

  • Actually i worked in 2 of the 3 O'Gehry buildings in the Media Harbour in Düsseldorf / Germany... the white one on the left, and the silver one in the middle... I really love his style, and his buildings all over the planet. Also, and I think that moment would have been orgasmic for architects, I had the chance to see the construction plans.. really really impressive! Thanks Frank! :)

  • I used to hate Frank O. Gehry. Now I don't hate him, because I understand him better. Back then I was just an ignorant kid. I think it takes understand to appreciate such a complex works. It's like modern art. Most people see it as craps. When you study art history, you will understand it.

  • these buildings give me a stomach ache to even look at them! This "architect" must have a twisted soul to crank out this rubbish!! Who would pay to have their building look like this? Disgusting!! The inner twisted soul of a jew perfectly illustrated!!

  • Watching Frank Gehry's works makes me miss architecture... I wanna practice it again... I love the video though the music seems to destruct me from savouring my moment watching Gehry's master pieces... :)

  • Keep up your work.

  • i'd love him to design a kennel for my dog.

  • @Arckitekt Only Architect wannabe-artists are inspired by Gehry. They think through simple cutting and pasting of crumpled and folded pieces of papers, they have a chance to become Architects. Even though they don't have any knowledge of function, Mathematics, Science, Structures, MEP, quantity surveying and all sorts of knowledge real Architects should have

  • Well a lot of his stuff looks like bits of paper and pieces of tin foil which he picked out of his waste basket. piled up into a mess and then called it 'high concept'
