  • enjoyed this video... i have already responded to almost everyone's comment, so i am sure my point is clear. keep on vblogging steve.

p.s. in case my point wasn't clear. i DO support increased funding for the space program, just not at the cost of our national security.

  • Loud and clear! Thanks for the help!

  • NASA has had the most profoundly positive impact to our way of life. And the idea that removal of the space program to cut government budget would be effective is crazy! NASA's budget is 0.6% of the total national budget. In fact, the ENTIRE funding of NASA since it's inception in 1958 (adjusted for current dollar value) has been $618.4 Billion.

That is right... Nearly the same amount of money that we have spent in 4 years on the Iraq war (currently at $450 Billion).

  • Nice video response, sadly for America this is what I see happening, China will get back to the Moon and Mars first. And sadly it will be China that will lead the way into space, but there is still time to change this possible future, but sadly there is no 'vision' from either party in America they are only interested in the militaristic power that will come from being the president.

  • Amen! The important thing that I saw is that at least Huckabee understands the benefits from such a program... Tancredo and Obama seem to have no understanding of what the space program means to our way of life!

And unfortunately I have to agree... China will most liekly make it back to the Moon first, and use that technology to get to Mars...

  • Venezuela was not selling oil for anything other than dollars -- yet.

  • look at how you are running your mouth. maybe you should get a vocabulary that expands beyond monosyllabic words. i pick and choose what i buy. i buy fair trade coffee, and my clothing is made in NAFTA countries. i buy nothing that is made outside of the americas. even my wine i buy is from argentina. you are a moron.

  • you are ridiculous. we are there for oil? why aren't we in venezuela? 40% of our oil comes from them. how much oil do we buy from iraq? we have spent a lot of money on this war, we aren't making money on it. you obviously know nothing about this issue. and they did have WMDs, not all WMDs are nukes you know. he had chemical and biological weapons. and SAMs that went well beyond the 60km radius they were allowed.

  • PS. American did not have the United Nations ok to attack Iraq, everyone knew there was no WMDs there, otherwise Isreal would have been mobilizing their army becuase if its anyones intrest to know who has WDMs, its the Isrealites. You did not have the UNs permission to attack Iraq, and your only there for oil, which you think is divinley yours becuase your apparently the greatest nation ever to be on this earth...

  • Oh wow, america is so high and mighty becuase they stepped into a few wars right before they were going to be over anyways. But yet your too arrogant to admit when you have lost, ex. Vietnam. and now Iraq. And ohhh no you cant attack america back,no thats wrong. america was fucking around in the middle east pissing people off before 9-11, thats why you got attacked, it wasnt some random attack on freedom.

  • "i don't know of any americans that like our current trade relations with china."

    ---

Duhhh, how about anyone that shops at walmart...(every single american) who love their low-low prices. Guess what? almost everything in walmart is manufactured in china. so i disagree, i think that americans love your current trade with china, becuase look how well fucking walmart is doing! Fuck, why dont you fucking americans learn about the world around you before opening your big fucking retarded mouths!

  • i want to know where this wax person is from. what nation is so grand that he can cast these insults at the united states.

  • unfortunate isn't it. i would challenge anyone to attempt to take our arsenal away. you complain about our military, but deep down you need us around. again, i am not sure where you are from, but if it wasn't for us the world would be a lovely mix of communists and nazis. and japan may or may not have been about to surrender, they couldn't be trusted for their word. they were cowards and deceptive about the start of the war. we should have nuked tokyo as well, and we shouldn't have rebuilt them.

  • i don't know of any americans that like our current trade relations with china. our government needs to break trade ties with china, pay off our international debt, return to the gold standard, and forge economic/trade ties with ASEAN and MercoSur.

  • Waxbar1, you are incredibly moronic. If you had any idea where the bulk of pollution comes from today or even a remote understanding of the political and scientific mindsets that existed in the world during WWII, I think you'd realize how stupid you really are, by posting that comment.

Furthermore, your horrible grammar and immature, stereotypical insults do not represent YOUR country well.
