@morinoroba Hahaha! I never heard that before!
-
@morinoroba Then you should play more of it!

Ai Mori's fingers float over the keyboard so lightly like a beautiful butterfly . Spectacular performance from the little lady from Japan , Bravo Ai Mori, I love this video, so much emotion in your music, just wonderful, straight into my favourites !!

Really lovely Ai. Thankyou! I think I can hear a bit of Scriabin in the prelude and a mixture of Chopin and Scriabin in the Etude ... It's always rewarding to hear and to learn lesser-known gems.

@paulprocopolis Thank you, yes indeed Chopin and Scriabin, but still, it is Liadov!

Lovely! Do you know Ignaz Friedman's "Musical Snuff Box"? The Liadov has such an innocence about it. A nice trio of Liadov works... well-chosen.

@camaysar222 Yes, I've heard of Ignaz Friedman's "Musix box", a lovely joke after he played the last notes(he closed the lid of the piano)!

What a unique take on the oft-played Music Box. I hear things in this performance that I've never heard before! Charming, really! You have such a way with Liadov's works, Lady Ai.

@Noshirm Glad you like it! Somehow, when I play Liadov I don't feel any distance to his music...
