Are you serious? The sport of Football dates back to the 12th century in England, long before Columbus. Detailed records exist of games being played between towns. Go read a few history books, it won't take you long before you find out how wrong you are. Americans call it Soccer because they don't want to call American Football by it's true name...Handball, that's what it is, a game you play mostly with your hands, not feet.
