Number One thing is to due is use Alcohol! Clean the cyst very well! All the tools each and evey time after use and please please use rubber gloves. Make sure when you video tape this keep the camera still which you were already doing a great job, get a nice close up of all the action and I hope I have provided enough information to make this much easier to get rid of the cyst on his (your) Back! There are a lot of people that like to watch this stuff (including me) I know I know gross huh!

@123shellabella Thanks for all the info. We are going to try to do it again. We have been working on this thing for a year now (this was the 1st time of cutting into it though) I just didn't want to cut and hurt him, then my husband in the background saying I was doing it wrong. I will try to get at it again once all the bruising goes down. Thanks again for the info, and yes will be making a new video once we get it.

Also apply a hot towel or washcloth to the area a few mins before you slice and dice. I makes the sebum softer and come out more easily!

Now the cyst has a pocket holding all the pus in. One thing that will probably happen after getting all the sebaceous (this is a sebaceous cyst) pus out there will be what looks like a chunk of material (looks like a chunk of flesh) that pops out this is the remainder (the sack). Don't be scared to pull it out sometimes they come out easy and other times its really hard to get out : ) This will be a pleasure to watch!

Now there is a lot of pockets within a cyst so prod it if you can. Use a slim pair of scissors or a pair of hemostats be very careful when using the scissors. Just loosen up the inside of the cyst prodding along sides and inside the cyst. Usually the patient cannot feel this if he can you are prodding to hard but don't be scared just slowly loosen up the stuff inside the cyst.

Ok just a word to the wise :-) How to pop a Cyst- Squeeze cyst in between for finger and thumb firmly so that he can't really feel the blade. Next take the razor blade and puncture the cyst until you feel a clearing (emptyness) be sure to cut the cyst long enough because what is coming out is thick and will not come out of a small hole (make the cut about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long. -Continued-
