Bloomberg Says He'll Seek 3rd Term

Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced Thursday that he will ask City Council to change New York's term-limits law so he can run for another four years in office to deal with the 'unprecedented challenges' brought on by the financial meltdown.(Oct. 2)

Mr Mayor..PLEASE, PLEASE do something about the garbage in our city! I live on First ave near 116, and I cannot believe the overflowing city trash cans on every corner! I've watched the NYSD come by and just empty the can, but leave the overflow for someone else. This is uncalled for! Someone needs to be held responsible, I don't see any sanitation inspectors giving out summons to the store owners or landlords that share these streets and sidewalks. Pay me a salary, and I will clean up the mess

Mayor Mike was for term-limits and used some very harsh language against those politicians who wanted to repeal it.

Why...? Because; at the time it was to his advantage to defend term limits to stop the (then) very popular (9/11 former Mayor of NYC) Rudy Giulliani from seeking a third term.

Nice the way his Excellency... Bloomberg opened his fat wallet and paid off the city council to scrub term limits. Just listening to his nasally whining voice is enough to make a dog vomit. He has the kind of problem that only a mental heath professional can help him with. It's enough to make a person's skin crawl .This corrupt ego maniac should be serving a 3rd term alright. A term in jail for his bribery.

And I think he KNOWS this: That's why he only asked the city council( who also stand to benefit from the extension, since they keep their job also)instead of the people of NYC to extend term limits just for him. So we all need to be aware and take precautions to not have a FIXED CORRUPT voting system in the next election for NYC mayor!!

Apparently power hungry bloomberg seems to think this is bad news that the economy is getting better. And to me, no matter what his race or religion, etc, Bloomberg comes off too often as having the attitude of a tyrant. And sadly I think, his run for a third term may be successful, because of the hidden corrupt powers of NYC government which may fix the outcome in his favor.

To me he is obviously too arrogant, rude, deceptive an individual to continue for a 3rd term. He publicly scolded a disabled reporter for dropping his tape recorder; and he also publicly called another reporter a Disgrace, who asking him to consider repealing the 3rd term extension, since signs are showing that the economy is getting better.
