  • Alright, I just re-watched the clip: "Super-bad" and "badass" are another way of saying something is awesome. Rachel actually even called it awesome at one point as well. At the end of the show Kent made reference to Rachel "covetting" the coat.

It was amusing and maybe a little tongue-in-cheek, but I maintain those comments were not meant to be negative or mockery.

  • Hey Rachel...I think Hillary Clinton is a total phony and was a huge mistake to appoint her to SS. But making fun of her clothes? You lose all credibility and sink to the level of all those you rally against.

  • I happen to adore Hillary Clinton so I think I'd be more sensitive to something like this and I don't think Rachel said anything inappropriate.

It would take a great deal of spin to view Rachel's comments as making fun of Hillary.

  • But why make fun of her overcoats? What's that got to do with anything? Its just fault-finding. We need to be critical of our leaders' wardrobe? Its just nonsense. I happen to hate Rachel's man-look that she sports when not on MSNBC, but that's got nothing to do with my opinion of her which is quite high, and you will not see me making nattery comments about it, just because I feel like it.

  • That's just the thing, I don't think Rachel's comments were negative. I'm having a hard time even attempting to see how anyone would construe them that way.

  • love the matrix coat

  • You guys are all trippin. It was cutting and sarcastic. Next!

  • "slightly less super-bad over coat than yesterday's amazing Matrix-worthy number" is high praise, it means Rachael loved it almost as much as the one the day before. Ask your kids what line means, they will understand completely.

  • I concur. ;-)

  • ??? Am I crazy here? You're saying she was not making fun of Hillary and being critical of her overcoats? "..a slightly less super-bad over coat than yesterday's amazing Matrix-worthy number" said very sarcastically, and of course they choose a bad photo to emphasize Rachel's criticism. Wow its as obvious as a red chair in a white room. Very FOXish I'm afraid, very O'Reilly-like, very unnecessary and biased. Making fun of Hillary's wardrobe, how trite.
